Real route geometry
Origins and destinations become coordinates and a drivable route rather than a stored placeholder.
Enter a short test trip and your true RV height. HeightAhead will draw the route, retrieve mapped height restrictions, and explain every result without pretending incomplete data is safe.
We’ll show the calculated road path, mapped clearance records close to it, travel distance, estimated time, and exactly why the result remains safe, unsafe, or uncertain.
Resolving both places, calculating the road path, then checking mapped height restrictions.
Origins and destinations become coordinates and a drivable route rather than a stored placeholder.
Height restrictions tagged near the route are normalized into inches with source provenance.
A conflict produces an unsafe warning. OSM-only coverage remains indeterminate even when no conflict is mapped.
This milestone uses user-triggered Nominatim geocoding, the FOSSGIS OSRM development routing service, OpenStreetMap tiles, and Overpass clearance tags. Requests are rate-limited and cached. These community services provide no commercial SLA and will be replaced by a paid or self-hosted production provider before launch.
